The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
DRAMA MINISTRY: The Powerhouse Church of God Drama Ministry is a true ministry unto God and his people. Our plays involve real life situations that Christians endure such as sickness, broken relationships, loss of jobs, and faith that has waned. Yet with each play, God manifests His ability to bring His children through each trial. God has anointed these plays and witnessed healings come forth, financial breakthroughs, deliverance from bondage, and homeless people entering the doors of the Church. To God Be the Glory!
DRILL TEAM FOR CHRIST: We are soldiers in the army of the Lord! Drill Team for Christ expresses our love to Our Father through the movements of our hands and feet. As we stomp on the devil and lift up the Lord, we present a unique, yet innovative way to glorify God.
GREETERS MINISTRY: Greeters serve as the first welcome to Powerhouse Church of God. We greet as Philippians 4:21 states, "Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you." Whether it's your first time or your 100th time to Powerhouse, we welcome you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. We thank God for your presence in His House.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY: As intercessors, our mission is to provide a covering for Powerhouse members, friends and all that may cross our threshold. In doing so, we aim to counter all attacks of the enemy, especially those directed towards our Precious Pastor and the Ministry. We pray that God continues to bless this work as souls are being saved through prayer intercession.
MEN'S GROUP: As Powerhouse Men, we take special pride in our roles as protectors, providers and keepers of the Word. We strive to be Mighty Men of God and humbly submit to the needs of our Heavenly Father, our Pastor and the whole church family. It is an honor to be involved with the Powerhouse Men's Group and it is our goal to be more like Jesus Christ every second.
PILLARS WOMEN'S MINISTRY: Pillars is an anointed nondenominational women's ministry founded by Pastor J. M. White. It has been instrumental in the community and the building fund of Powerhouse Church of God. Pillars help in the community by sponsoring different anointed Christian events
POETIC PRAISE: Poetic Praise is a Ministry that uses Poetry to preach the Gospel to all people. This Ministry was sponsored by Pastor White when the new House was built. The Bible says do not despise small beginnings. We believe that God is going to use our gift of poetry to heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, and so forth. We do not take credit for these gifts but we give all praise and glory to God. We look forward to expanding across the nation.
POWERHOUSE CHURCH OF GOD C.H.A.T.: Have you ever wondered about certain stories or about sins in the Bible? Have you ever heard a sermon and wanted to hear more or wanted to learn more about people of the Bible? Then Powerhouse Church of God's monthly chat session is the place where one could learn more about the Word of God, voice concerns about the world we live in, and just have healthy Christian conversations. Chat sessions offer in depth analysis about God's power and the tricks of the enemy. Chat is a time for saints to gather together in His name and seek the revelation of God's Word in an informal, relaxed environment. POWERHOUSE CHURCH OF GOD USHER BOARD: ".......I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness" (Psalms 84:10) The desire of Powerhouse Usher board is to do just that, a doorkeeper. A Powerhouse Usher carries the responsibility of making sure that the service is in order at all times so that the anointing can come in and destroy yokes. A Powerhouse Usher is a humbled servant that truly just wants to serve in the house of the Lord.
POWERHOUSE CHURCH OF GOD YOUTH: As the next set of Calvary in God's army, Powerhouse Church of God Youth are in training and on fire for Christ. Our mission is to ignite God's fire into the hearts of our young people and to train them to be soldiers for Christ. We give them their Basic Instructions Before Leaving the Earth, teach them to take the kingdom by force, and to prosper in all that they do. Powerhouse Church of God Youth are truly on FIRE!
POWERHOUSE WORSHIP MINISTRY: This is a ministry that God moves through our vessels to praise and worship Him. The movement of dance has burst through by way of the anointing of God through His precious Holy Ghost. We continue to reverence the presence of God and worship Him in spirit and in truth. IT IS NOT ABOUT US, BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT GOD! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! - We continue to feel like Nehemiah, we are doing good work and we can't come down. In the past, we have attended several conferences to pour into our spirits, so that we might be able to pour out.
POWERHOUSE MUSIC MINISTRY: This anointed and appointed ministry of music is collectively consisting of gifts that have been anointed by God through drums, keyboard, trumpet, guitar and more! The collective gifts of God are ignited by the blessed voices of the PRAISE TEAM! The goal is to worship and praise God with every breath that is within us. COME GET BLESSED!
VIRTUOUS MINISTRY: "I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, unto God, which is your reasonable service, Rom 12:1." The Virtuous Ministry seeks to fulfill the above Scripture through a variety of workshops that teach the children of God how to live a life that is pleasing unto God--a life that brings the flesh under subjection to the Spirit of God. Workshop topics include the ABC's of dating, preparing for marriage, and peer pressure, and are tailored to meet the needs of men, women, and youth. Our main objective is to spiritually war against the immorality that is prevalent in today's society.
